The "Planters" project is based on the regular presence of artists in schools, working in coordination with specialist teachers. A joint working team is created between the experts of the educational centers and the artists in residence, who coordinate and prepare weekly sessions together. It’s also relevant the regular attendance to theatrical plays or the occasional presence of renewed artists in the centers managing talks, workshops, etc. Another important aspect of Planters are the exhibitions and presentations about the artistic process that students organize in public spaces in order to give visibility to the project and share with the families and the other students of the center what they have learned.
The link between education and arts in the classroom generates an improvement in the school climate, promotes integration, enhances intercultural dialogue and strengthens the learning capacities of children and young people.
